I get quite a few questions about using my photos as reference or part of artwork. I would like to take this time to update the rules about this.

Please ask for my permission BEFORE using my art. People tend to send me links to their finished works telling me they used my pictures. I don't like that too much because I would like to know beforehand what you are using the pics for.

Always give proper credit to me as the photographer, especially if you do photomanipulations.
Send a note to me with the link back to your work when you're done. Don't just put the link to a comment because it's sometimes hard to spot and might get lost. (I want to know where my photos are used)

Do NOT copy my photos and use them on other sites, especially without my permission. That is very rude and a violation to my copyright.

I don't allow my photos to be used on SIMgames.

Other than that, I am flattered that people like my work so I usually give the permission if you just ask nicely.
